Moved here for work? Studying? Visiting for a week? Locks in Stockholm work a little differently from what you may be used to, and the signs on the door are in Swedish. This line is for you. You call, you explain in English, and you get a straight answer.
Most apartment buildings here have a code panel on the street door (the "portkod") and a heavy steel security door on each flat. That door locks itself the moment it shuts. That is why so many of our calls start with "I just stepped out to take the rubbish down".
We drive out around the clock, every day of the year. Before we open anything, we check that you live at the address. It protects you as much as anyone. We open without damage where we can, and we only drill after your yes. The common cylinders are in the van, so a lock change can usually happen on the same visit.
If you rent, your landlord (the "hyresvärd") may have an on-call line of their own. Try it first. If nobody answers, we are here.
